Lead Actor - Benoit Magimel

Benoit Magimel was born in 1974 in Paris, France. At age 12, he played Momo in Life Is a Long Quiet River (1988) by Étienne Chatiliez. He stopped his studies at age 16 to become an actor. and has starred in a variety of roles in French cinema. Benoit is said to have gifted French cinema with the "dark blond". He is a chameleon with comic timing yet capable of embodying deep and dark emotions. Although he is a private individual with a reputation for being serious, some interviewers have found Benoît to be

the opposite. He works hard to support his directors and promote the films in which he features by attending film festivals and red carpet events.
